Chiikawa fans, you’re in luck. The cute anime series is teaming up with McDonald’s to celebrate its large-scale Chiikawa Days exhibition by releasing Chiikawa-themed packaging for the fast food chain’s latest time-limited menu items. Flock to your nearest McDonald’s location (except outlets at Peak Galleria, Ocean Park, Shatin and Happy Valley Racecourses, and Hong Kong International Airport) to get your hands on their juicy ebi burger ($31 for a la carte, $39 for meal set), the brand-new crab croquette burger ($34 for à la carte, $39 for meal set), and their indulgent créme brûlée pie ($11.50) – all in adorable packaging. Be sure to upsize your meal (+$9.5) to enjoy a Kyoho grape soda with assorted fruits and sakura shrimp-flavoured Shake Shake fries seasoning. Plus, customers can redeem an exclusive e-coupon on McDonald’s mobile app to purchase the ebi burger series four-course meal (including either burger, fries, a soft drink, and the pie) and receive a limited-edition Chiikawa Days sticker with your order – available in white from July 8 to 14 and black from July 15 to 21 (while stocks last).
