As we step into the cooler autumn months, we here at team Time Out are celebrating the season with our first-ever outdoor Moonrise Picnic, hosted in partnership with China Hong Kong City and The Royal Pacific Hotel on Saturday, October 13. A twist on the classic sunset soirée, we’ll take over the sprawling terrace at Tsim Sha Tsui’s famously Instagrammable China Hong Kong City from 5pm-10pm for an alfresco experience featuring good food, plenty of booze and music – all under the lunar glow.

In true picnicking fashion, we’ve curated several baskets filled with small snacks, big bites and sweets made for sharing. You can take a look at the dishes on offer and order your baskets here, along with your tables and chairs. We’ll also have wines, spirits and Pilsner Urquell lager onsite, although you can also pre-order beverage packages at a discounted price.

To add another touch of fun to this event, there’ll be a large-scale illuminated art installation at the picnic, courtesy of Australian artist Amanda Parer. Imagined as larger-than-life inflatable rabbits, these sculptures provide the perfect photo-op, especially when set against our city’s skyline. So if you’re looking fun way to spend an autumn evening out, hop along and book your spot at the picnic now.
