Happy Wednesday French Night

Francophiles rejoice! Happy Wednesdays is going all gallic this month at Happy Valley Racecourse. To enjoy Parisian vibes, exquisite French wines, cuisines, performances, and exciting on-track action, make your way over to the racecourse on one of the three consecutive Happy Wednesday nights of May 10, 17 and 24 for an unforgettable evening filled with live-action and French fun.

On May 10 indie stars Shumking Mansion will provided stellar tunes to go with the races. The action heats up further on May 17 with feature races The France Galop and the Le French May Trophy taking place to the moves of The Swagger's hip dance choreography. Things climax on the 24th with the prestigious the Sauternes Cup race and the thrilling acrobatics of Les Dudes.

If all that isn't enough, racegoers can enjoy Jockeys of France: “Move Like a Star Jockey,” in which racing fans are invited to take the seat of a jockey VR-style, and some simply délicieux French cuisine – from escargot to ratatouille – as well as wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux. If all that gets you in the spirit, there's also complimentary French-themed makeup, courtesy of Make Up For Ever, to help decorate you with a lovely tricolour and all things blue, white or red. Vive la France!
