Sip and savour fine French fare on a Michelin-starred terrace
The stunning outdoor terrace of Seasons by Olivier E. will be transformed into a gastronomic paradise this June. The Michelin-starred restaurant has teamed up with Estates & Wines to present a three-day mini food and wine pairing festival, where contemporary Gallic bites will be matched with an international range of acclaimed vintages.
The six pairing booths will be a perfect way to sample a series of signature dishes by Chef Olivier Elzer, who secured a Michelin star less than a year after opening his first solo venture in 2014. Pairings include grilled five spice tuna belly with avocado crush and crispy shallots with chardonnay and sauvignon blanc from New Zealand vineyard Cloudy Bay), lamb chops with Cape Mentelle shiraz and cabernet merlot, and tender beef skewers with hearty malbec and cabernet sauvignon from Argentina's Terrazas de los Andes from the beef booth. Finish your gourmet experience on a high with a cheese selection paired with the iconic Scottish Highland dram Glenmorangie.
Other highlights include parlour games, a live DJ and a DIY bellini booth featuring fresh fruits and purées.
