Time Out says

The event doubles as a fundraiser dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehoming of abandoned dogs in Hong Kong.

Spoil your furry companions with a charming weekend tea party at Cookie DPT on March 17. The popular cookie destination is rolling out delicious treats for dogs at its flagship cafe in Central. More than fun and treats, the occasion serves as a fundraiser for the Hong Kong Dog Rescue Charity (HKDR), which is committed to the rescue, care, and rehoming of dogs. Held in collaboration with the pet wear and accessories brand Vervve, this event aims to spotlight the critical issues of dog rescue and the rehoming of abandoned canines across the city.

Guests and their pets can look forward to savouring delicious treats, including carrot cake ($30) and peanut butter cupcake ($25), specially crafted for pups. In addition to puppuccinos ($20), a special drink for dogs called Snickerdoodle, made of lamb broth, coconut milk, and cinnamon, crafted by Puptails – a local brand that creates vet-approved drinks for dogs – will also be available. Be sure to take home a custom-made dog portrait from For The Love of Dog, who will be at the venue to add a personalised touch to this meaningful gathering.
