Time Out says

The ice-cream catering concept will be at Tong Chong Street Market from December 7-18

In light of the latest pandemic situation, Tong Chong Street Market scheduled on December 1 to 18 will be cancelled.

Teemtonefai, a contemporary ice cream catering brand from Hong Kong, is launching a pop-up at this year's Tong Chong Street Market. From December 7 to 18, the store will be offering a colour-themed variety of gelato for a limited time only. Marking the fifth anniversary of Teemtonefai’s founding, the brand – which previously launched the popular corn-flavoured 'Always Corny' and Valentine’s Day special 'F* it I love you' ice-cream – will unveil the new #COVIdiot ice-cream in December.

In keeping with Teemtonefai’s signature retro and playful aesthetics, the #COVIdiot is made to imitate a soap bar with its shape and bright blue colour. This design is not only meant to poke fun at those who blindly hoarded cleaning products (seriously, put down the toilet paper!) at the beginning of the outbreak, but it also is a satirical remark at anyone that still regards the outbreak as a joke. Both sweet and sour, #COVIdiot is a refreshing lemon and yuzu sorbet treat not to be missed at the December pop-up.

Teemtonefai is an innovative brand and concept founded by Thomas Fung, who specialises in photography and design, which explains the brand’s success with its vibrantly coloured and daringly creative designs.
