The Time Out Love London Awards are back, giving you the opportunity to nominate your favourite local pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops and other venues. (Do it now!) We thought we'd take a look back over some places we discovered in the 2014 awards to give you a cheeky taste of what's out there. Today: shops!

The Old Cinema, Chiswick


A department store devoted to selling antique, vintage, retro, industrial and upcycled furniture, The Old Cinema scooped the prize for Chiswick's finest shop in 2014. (See more: London's best furniture shops)

This charming Notting Hill bookshop contains more cookbooks than you can shake a ladle at. They even have a kitchen out back where they put recipes to the test and dish up the results to delighted customers. (See more: London's best bookshops)
