The once mighty Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre may be no more, but this genteel patch of west London is still worth exploring. Wander off Earl’s Court Road, the main drag outside the tube station, and you’ll find some classic London garden squares and mews streets, as well as a generous smattering of boutique hotels and interesting places to eat and drink. The museums of South Kensington and shops and restaurants of Kensington High Street are just a short walk away, too, so there’s no chance of being bored if you find yourself in Earl’s Court anytime soon.
