We curate an L.A. weekend itinerary of the city's best concerts, culture and cuisine, every week, just for you.

Friday

Mark a decade and a half of cinema-loving programming during the Echo Park Film Club 15th Anniversary Celebration. The Eastside's community film school and studio space is hosting five days of free events, including a bike ride tonight followed by hot chocolate and silent films screened at the northeast corner of Echo Park Lake. Swing by the film center again on Saturday evening for an all-night salon of spoken word, live music and more.

Snag a seat at the Theatre at Ace Hotel for the return of L.A. Dance Project. The Benjamin Millepied-led ensemble mounts four performances tonight, including a world premiere piece choreographed and performed by Millepied with live musical accompaniment from Rufus Wainwright.

Just up the street, Jim James is performing solo at the Orpheum Theatre. See the My Morning Jacket frontman step out solo in support of his latest John Lennon-gone-sci-fi release.

Saturday

Start your Saturday at the Bitchcraft Winter Faire in Highland Park. Check out this badass, scrappy little market featuring a mix of witchy, metal, punk, psych, Western and hippie-inspired wares.

For an artsy shopping experience on the Westside, hit up the Bergamot Station Holiday Open House. Celebrate the holiday season with an art sale and open house at the more than 30 galleries in this Santa Monica arts complex.

Keep the holiday cheer going and find a spot at Fisherman's Village to see the Marina Del Rey Boat Parade. Feel as though you've escaped to a small-town fishing village at this illuminated boat parade and fireworks show, which kicks of at 5:55pm.

If you're up for a semi-sloppy evening, drink your way around town during the Santa Monica Pub Crawl. Cheers to the holiday season at this annual Westside tradition, where you can belt out Christmas carols over drink specials at dozens of Santa Monica bars.

Alternatively, spend the evening at the Regent Theater for the Riot Grill Fest. Pair female-fronted punk like Le Butcherettes and Girlpool—the "riot" part—with Philly cheesesteaks and pizza—hence the "grill" pun—at this one-night-only fest.

Sunday

Swing by a pair of holiday markets on Sunday, starting with Renegade Craft Fair. Stroll through one of the country's top craft fairs as it visits Grand Park—and be sure to sign up for our giveaway of more than $1,500 worth of goods from local L.A. makers.

Alternatively, peruse high-end wares at the winter installment of Echo Park Craft Fair, the expertly curated craft fair at Mack Sennett Studios.

Close out your weekend with SparkleBlob's Annual Holiday Puppet Show at Art & Commerce Productions. Follow Silver Lake's most well-adjusted family as they stress to impress for a hometown holiday during this offbeat puppet show.
