Time Out says

Listen up, whisky-lovers: the pop-up you’ve been waiting for is here, and you’re invited

What’s the best whisky you’ve ever tasted? Whether you’re a whisky connoisseur or you’re a casual fan hoping to learn more, you won't be disappointed with your first sip of Dewar’s Whisky. First crafted by John Dewar 167 years ago, this whisky soon became world famous, drunk by royals and US presidents alike. It's now the world's most awarded blended whisky and this has a lot to do with John's son, Tommy Dewar, the maverick of the family.

Tommy Dewar was a raconteur, famed for his wit. A genius for publicity, he rambled across the world to extol the virtues of his dad's delicious drop, even making it down under. In fact, you've probably heard some of his 'Dewarisms', which are still quoted in best man speeches around the world: "we have a great regard for old age when it's bottled" and "never question your wife's judgement – look who she married" being two shining examples.

For five weeks, Tommy's character will live on at The Grace Darling in Smith Street, which will play host to The Dewar's Lock Inn. It's your chance to sample the full range of Dewar's whiskies, including their famous and award-winning Single Malts. The tastings will go hand-in-hand with the rare chance to hear cracking stories from Dewar's Whisky Ambassador Squire Andy Wren. There will be live music and fine drams from 6pm until late.

To skip the queue and secure a double pass to the Dewar's Lock Inn, all you need to do is enter using the form below, selecting your preferred session until the cellar is at capacity.

What are you waiting for?
