Situated within a restored 19th century heritage-listed building, the Carlton Wine Room brings together warm hospitality, a big ol' wine list and an impressive seasonal menu.
The new winter menu is big on flavour and showcases braised and roasted meats with flair. Try slow braised beef short ribs with Dutch carrots, spicy dukkah, potato foam, chilli, yoghurt and a rich whisky jus or order up duck breast with pumpkin puree, blackberries and fermented garlic.
After something lighter to go with a quick glass of wine? You'll also find freshly shucked oysters, a cured meat board with warm bread or organic beef tartare.
