Super keen to see The Book of Mormon – landing later this month at the Princess Theatre – but haven't got the cashola for a ticket?

You're in luck, musical theatre fans. A new preview performance has just been announced for Tuesday January 17, with all tickets going for just $20. Not only is this an opportunity to see the show several weeks before its official opening night (Saturday February 4)it's a seriously huge discount: for regular tickets, you're looking at upwards of $70.

So if you're dying to join Elder Price and Elder Cunningham on their ill-fated Mormon mission to Uganda, then all you need to do is turn up at the Princess Theatre box office at 10am, Monday January 9. You can only buy them in person, and you can only buy two. Our advice: get there early and get ready to queue. Scoring cheap tickets to smash hit Broadway musicals isn't easy, but it's always worth it.

Did you know that The Book of Mormon was written by the creators of South Park? Here's everything you need to know about the musical going in.

Your guide to the best theatre and musicals in January.
