We knew this day was coming, but the loss of a killer dessert shop is still going to sting for fans of those sensational custard flan tarts.
The last day of trading for the Carlton pop-up is Friday June 30. To say goodbye to their cobbled laneway pop-up site in Carlton, Black Star Pastry will be hosting a big goodbye party on Sunday July 2, from noon to 6pm. We have a feeling that the last hurrah will be packed with teary Black Star groupies, but you can also expect lots of cake, booze and free skewers from Melbourne market favourites Hoy Pinoy.
