Melbourne's leafy south-eastern suburbs is getting a massive food festival this spring. The second annual East Malvern Food and Wine Festival is coming back to Central Park for one day only on Sunday November 19, bringing along wineries from the Bendigo and Heathcote regions, craft beer brewers and local food producers.

Come hungry, food trucks and pop-up restaurant stalls will be serving delicious food all day. Expect the crew from local Malvern restaurants Riserva and Nepal Dining Room, as well as Richmond Oysters and Seafood Tapas and That's Amore Cheeses. You can also stock up your kitchen with fancy Victorian produce like local cheeses, condiments, and even festive fare like Christmas puds if you're doing an early Christmas shop.

Melbourne brewers including Footscray's Two Birds Brewing, Barrow Boys and Bad Shepherd Brewing Co will be pouring craft beers while wineries like Balgownie Estate and Tellurian Wines will be bringing along their best tipples.

The festival is a family-friendly event – kids can check out roving entertainers and pick up a few tricks from a visiting master magician's classes. Bring the fur kids too, the Canine Wellness Truck will be offering healthy treats for your #cleaneating pooch.

Entry to the event is free, but wine tasting packages are available from $20. Stay tuned for more vendor announcements on the event's Facebook page
