If you find yourself hankering for a bevvy and some dino-action on a Friday, you'll soon be able to fulfill your prehistoric drinking wishes throughout June, when Melbourne Museum will be hosting Jurassic Nights every Friday from June 3. From 6-9pm, weary city workers can kick back with a beer or a cocktail at Melbourne Museum along to jams by DJ Jess McGuire (regular ABC Local Radio and Double J collaborator). If you haven't gotten around to checking out Jurassic World: The Exhibition, tickets to the Jurassic Nights session also includes entry to Melbourne's version of Isla Nublar.
So in June, tell whatever work you've got left on Friday to back on up...
