Guys, this new pop-up in Fitzroy has gone full Portlandia. Gelato Fiasco has come all the way from Portland, Maine and you better bet that their pop-up log cabin (naturally) look the part. Staff members look like bearded lumberjacks and wear red and black flannel shirts, there are antlers everywhere, and the name of the gelato flavours read like a scroll.

The pop-up arrives in Australia to launch Gelato Fiasco's release of their 470ml tubs at 7-Eleven stores. Four flavours will be available and the pop-up serves to introduce the gelato to Johnston St with a bang.

Going for $7 a pop, options include the Wake 'n' Bacon pancake-flavoured gelato with maple syrup and bacon flavoured candy, the Big County Brownie with mint ice cream served with chocolate sauce, the peanut butter and pretzel Main Munchies, and the Log Cabin flavour with chocolate gelato, whiskey syrup and Sriracha almonds.

Gelato Fiasco Log Cabin is open now until September 11 at 82 Johnston St, Fitzroy. Open Thursday and Friday 4-11pm, and Saturday and Sunday 2-11pm.
