How many dumplings do you think you can eat in one sitting? You can put your stomach to the test at POW Kitchen in St Kilda, which is doing all you can eat dumplings every Thursday night in July. From 5pm on Thursdays, you can head to the pan-Asian restaurant above the Prince Bandroom to eat your fill of steamed or fried pockets of deliciousness.

The only (minor) catch is you'll have to come with a dumpling buddy. The whole thing will set you back $22.50 per person, and you'll be able to dig into a line-up of classic dumplings from steamed pork and mushroom, chicken and cabbage to vegetable spring rolls and fried dim sims, which though far from authentic are gems of old-school Australian Chinese dining. Come hungry.

Hunt down Melbourne's best dumplings at Melbourne's best dumpling houses.
