The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (Mar 29-Apr 23) is almost upon us, which means it's time to get serious about locking in the shows you really want to see. There's nothing funny about missing out on your favourite comedians – or even worse, running out of cash to buy tickets.

That's where 24/24 comes in. For the next 24 hours (10am Fri Feb 17-10am Sat Feb 18), the MICF is selling tickets to a bunch of shows at the laughably low price of 24 dollarydoos each.

These sweet discounts are no joke. You could buy $24 tickets to see Arj Barker's lauded show Organic, Barry-nominated Anne Edmonds, the always-outrageous Aunty Donna, new offerings from local favourites Hannah Gadsby and Wil Anderson, the return of UK darling Josie Long, the charming Matt Okine  and lots more.

Check out the full list of discounted shows here.
