This Christmas you can have your cake and eat it too as Melbourne treat wizards Bibelot launch two pop-up stores. Starting this Friday they’ll be setting up shop at the Prahran Market and the first floor of Myer Melbourne and will be staying open for the Christmas period. To celebrate this gastronomic grand opening, the Prahran Market location will be giving away free salted caramel eclairs to the first 100 customers on Saturday November 25 from 10am. *heavy breathing*

But don’t stress if your sleigh can’t get you there in time. Even if you’re customer 101 there will still be plenty on offer. Get your mitts on their range of biscuits, chocolate bonbons (available in boxes of nine, 16 and 25 pieces) and the deservedly famous selection of petits gâteaux.

Their Christmas hampers are the perfect gift for your sweet-toothed friends. There are three sizes to choose from, each one packed to the brim with handmade goodies including jams, granola and spiced nuts.

Three new grands gâteaux (that’s French for really big cakes) are launching on December 1 and will be available throughout the month. Each of these have different designs and flavours, all showcasing the skill of their talented creators.

In keeping with the festive spirit all chocolate gift boxes come with a Christmas wrapping, so all you have to do is put it under the tree.

Need to tick off a few more things on the Chrissy shopping list? Why not try one of Melbourne's many Christmas markets?
