And there you have it, the crux of Nina Oyama and Jude Perl’s MICF show We Should Hang Out! For an exclusive run of three shows from March 30 until April 1, the co-hosts will perform a variety show that blends comedy, music and hanging out.
Nina Oyama is a Japanese-Australian stand-up comedian, writer and actress best known for her role as Courtney in the ABC comedy series Utopia. Oyama grew up in Sydney and began performing comedy at 17 and has since written and performed in several live shows and festivals. In addition to her comedy work, Oyama has written for The Guardian and SBS Comedy.
Jude Perl is an Australian stand-up comedian, musician and writer. She has performed across Australia and abroad, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival. Inspired by the Flight of the Conchords, the comedian uses original songs in her performances as a cathartic way of finding light among the darkness.
