Time Out says

Melbourne’s most loved amusement park is overrun with fun school holiday activities

Kids and kidults alike can enjoy a day of fun at Luna Park this April with the famous amusement park putting on a show for the masses.

Take your pick of the rides, including the thrilling Fantasy Flyer and the “party machine” Body Rock ride, which is back by popular demand. Little ones can hop into the saddle at the Animal Kingdom where horses will be hanging out with unicorns, reindeer and the cats of the jungle. For a little extra excitement, there’ll be free face painting and flash tattoo art on the weekends.

The park will also host an eggcellent range of Easter activities for the entire family to enjoy on Easter Sunday. From midday, the Great Luna Park Easter Egg Hunt will kick off where participants of all ages will search for thousands of chocolate eggs from Chocolatier Australia hidden around the park. The Easter Bunny will also be hopping around, with guest appearances from Alice in Wonderland and Luna Park’s very own Mad Hatter MC. Entry into the egg hunt is free with the purchase of any unlimited ride ticket.

Luna Park will be open from 11am every day during the school holidays and for a bonus week up to and including Anzac Day on Tuesday April 25.
