[Sponsored] Taste of Melbourne will be taking over the MCG's Yarra Park for a family-oriented day that will give food-loving parents and adventurous little ones the chance to bake, paint, learn and create together.
Pint-sized pastry chefs can get inspired at the Lurpak Bakery where they can make their own Danish or shortcrust pastry. After baking up a storm they'll get to eat their masterpieces too. Over at the Cooks’ Corner a friendly farmer will be hosting live cooking demonstrations using tasty beef and lamb. Kids will be encouraged to get creative and put their mark on the festival by decorating the Taste letters sculptures and their mini chef hats with bright paint and pens. Kids' channel and YouTube starlet Grace of Grace's World and Grace’s Room will also be on board to entertain kids with a live recipe demonstration.
Taste of Melbourne takes place at the MCG's Yarra Park from Nov 30 to Dec 3, with the Family Fun Day celebrating the youngest foodie fans from noon on the final day of the festival. General admission tickets are $23, with free entry for children aged 14 and under (when accompanied by an adult with a valid entry ticket).
