Time Out says

The chart-topping country megastar is heading Down Under for a one-off show at Flemington Racecourse

The last few years have been a runaway success story for Zach Bryan. Since recording his debut album during breaks in his US Navy service and releasing it in 2019, the Oklahoma-born crooner has become the hottest rising star of the US country scene, and one of the biggest new names to hit the mainstream.

Best known for ‘Something in the Orange’, his heartache-laden ode to a doomed relationship, Bryan has gone from uploading tunes on his viral YouTube channel to having his self-titled album debut at number one on the US Billboard charts earlier this year.

Now, the country troubadour taking America by storm is heading to our neck of the woods for a special, one-night-only show at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, December 9. This beachside appearance will be Bryan’s first-ever Aussie show as he swiftly rose to fame at a time when international travel was a near-unachievable feat.

The gig will add another string to the already jam-packed bow of this year’s Always Live line-up, which features Christina Aguilera, Eric Prydz and Caroline Polacheck (just to name a few) in a statewide celebration from November 24 until December 10.

The lead single from Byran’s latest album, a duet with Kacey Musgraves titled ‘I Remember Everything’, is currently sitting pretty at number seven on the Spotify Australia singles chart. Add on the fact that he’s surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams around the world, and tickets to this Always Live exclusive show are likely to fly out the door faster than you can slip on your fave cowboy hat.

Tickets to see Zach Bryan are on sale from Friday, October 6 at 12pm, with presale commencing on Thursday, October 5 at 12pm. Visit the Always Live website for the full details.
