Victorian premier Dan Andrews has announced more rule changes for Victorians following last week's snap circuit breaker lockdown. From 11.59pm tonight, Friday February 26, Victoria will return to the outlined “Covid-safe summer” settings – basically, the settings we had before Christmas.

This means:

  • Masks will only be required in “high-risk settings”, including public transport, ride-share services, supermarkets, indoor markets and shopping centres. For the full list of locations, check with DHHS
  • You can have up to 30 people at your home.
  • Outside, groups of 100 people can gather.
  • 75 per cent of workplaces can return to offices, in both the private and public sectors.
  • 50 per cent capacity at the MCG and Marvel Stadium (there will be more information coming about sporting events and stadium rules).

For further information, check with the Department of Health’s website. And a reminder: get tested if you feel unwell. Here are the places to get tested across Victoria
