This November, head to regional Victoria for a taste of some of the best local produce and culinary talent across the state, for a special Regional Edition of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. MFWF is one of the most momentous moments in Melbourne's culinary calendar; each year, tens of thousands of people attend an incredible selection of events on offer during the festival, including annual favourites such as the World's Longest Lunch, led most recently by Attica's Ben Shewry. Earlier this year, the festival celebrated its 30th anniversary in style, with a star-studded lineup headed up by none other than Nigella Lawson herself.

This year, the Regional Edition of MFWF will see a series of events statewide celebrating the wider Victorian hospitality industry and encouraging visitors to expand their horizons across the state. The festival will run from November 18 to 27 from Ballarat to Beechworth, and from Mansfield to Milawa.

The Village Feast in Thorpdale will see the tiny Gippsland town transformed into a weekend-long celebration of Victorian chefs and Gippsland's fresh produce, including a five-course lunch by Farmer's Daughters' chef Alejandro Saravia, live entertainment and pop-up food stalls. Or check out the Crawl and Bite series, where small groups of diners will be guided through progressive dinners in venues across Victoria's High Country towns. If you're looking for a luxe getaway, you will love the Signature Escape series, which will see some of Victoria's finest accommodation and dining venues (think Lake House, Royal Mail and Jackalope) teaming up with producers to host exciting experiences showcasing the state.

Check out the full program and buy tickets here. And thanks to the Victorian government's cash back program, you can now claim 25% off your Regional Editions tickets up to $125.
