Collingwood's Stomping Ground Brewing Company has opened a brewery inside Melbourne Airport. Yes, a brewery in an airport!

It’s being plugged as the southern hemisphere’s first-ever airport brewery with the Stomping Ground team brewing on-site. They’re hoping to brew as many as 30 different beers at the Melbourne Airport site, starting with a Resilience Beer for bushfire relief where all sales will be going to bushfire-affected communities.

Executive chef Ben Isaacs has developed a full menu of pre-flight meals, plus there are tasting paddles and takeaway cans available for purchase.

Stomping Ground’s Brewery and Beer Hall is located at Virgin Australia’s terminal, Terminal 3, right after security. The venue is huge, at around 330m2 , and you have primo views over the airport runways.
