Lovers of a dense, warm cinnamon roll can rejoice, for American chain Cinnabon is landing on our southern shores after successful openings up north in Queensland.

The bakery is renowned for its variations of cinnamon rolls and cinnamon products including frosting by the tub, as well as coffee and frozen drinks. It's set to make its debut with its first Melbourne venue to open in Westfield Southland on March 3.

Cinnabon is a well-loved staple found in shopping malls and airports across the US (there are 1,200 Cinnabons across the country!) This is huge news for ex-pats and lovers of the brand as it’s basically the equivalent to giant Aussie franchise Baker’s Delight.

Pre-orders are now available via the website where you can snag a classic four-pack for $21, with a caramel pecan ‘Pecanbon’ flavour on offer for an extra $2.

There’s also a nine pack of ‘Minibons’ available for $27, and tubs of frosting for $5. Additional variations will be available to buy in-store, and word on the street is there will be a Biscoff version, too.

Cinnabon will be located near Coles in Westfield Southland on 1239 Nepean Hwy, Cheltenham and will open from March 3, 2021.
