A little bit of good news for Victorians – we can once again lay claim to the best pie in Australia with Kyneton’s Country Cob Bakery taking out the 2020 prize from the Baking Association of Australia.
The bakery also took out Australia’s best plain beef pie, Australia’s best gourmet pie (for its barbecue pork and quail egg pie), Australia’s best flavour beef pie (for its pepper beef pie) and Australia’s best vegetarian or vegan pie (for its curry cauliflower, lentil and chickpea pie).
