The Asia TOPA festival is a massive multi-venue festival of theatre, visual arts, dance and discussions. Settling in for its inaugural year, Asia TOPA and Arts Centre Melbourne will be teaming up with three of Melbourne’s best chefs for three equally exciting dining experiences.
Hitting up the Arts Centre’s swanky Barre and Barre Backyard hubs will be a selection of Thai street food from chef David Moyle, who’s heading up the soon-to-be-open rooftop venue Longsong above Longrain in the CBD.
Punters can order Thai infused delicacies like betel leaf of young ginger and spring mussels, grilled calamari with long pepper and mint as well as a number of specialty Asia TOPA inspired cocktails created in collab with Longrain and Melbourne Gin Company.
Bookings aren’t available so it’s first-in-best-dressed for this relaxed outdoor bar and restaurant. The Barre and The Barre Backyard will be open from 4pm 'til late until Sunday March 5. See on the way to an explosive performance from the TAO Dance Theatre.
