Time Out says

Australia's famous foodie families cook you dinner for one delicious night

Whether you come from a Vietnamese, Lebanese, Italian family or anything in between, you would have heard the phrase "Did you eat?" at least once (likely more than once) in your life. At chef Dan Hong's childhood home in Sydney, this is a weekly occurrence. The Monday night Hong Family Dinners hosted by the Mr Wong chef and his mum Angie is one of the most sought-after dinner invitations in Sydney. Luckily for us, the family dinner event is coming to Melbourne with other famous hospitality families in tow.

This multi-course dinner features these hospitality champs who like to keep it in the family:

- Siblings Kate and Cameron Reid (Lune Croissanterie, Fitzroy)
- Chefs and partners Matt Stone and Jo Barrett (Oakridge, Yarra Valley)
- Dan Hong and mum Angie Hong (Mr Wong, Sydney)
- Mother and son Sally and Alistair Wise (The Agrarian Kitchen, Tasmania)
- The Ayubi family (Parwana, Adelaide)
- Amy Chanta and daughter Palisa Chanta (Chat Thai and Boon café, Sydney)

Check out our round-up for more on the best events on at this year's Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
