Where would we be without Readings? Probably aimlessly walking around Lygon Street begging for a place to kill time before our movie at Cinema Nova starts. Well if you’re around over the weekend of June 15 and 16, you’re going to want to pop past Carlton because this world-famous book store is having a warehouse sale.
Readings will be selling off hundreds of books at really low prices at the Readings Warehouse, which is located at 314-318 Drummond Street in Carlton (not on Lygon Street – remember that).
All books for sale have been handpicked by Readings managing director Mark Rubbo, so you know there’s going to be some gold in there. Expect anything from fiction books and children’s books to cookbooks and big coffee table tomes.
It’s free to enter, and it’ll run on both Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
