It’s safe to say the world's biggest and most beloved American history musical has taken the world by storm since its Broadway debut in 2015, winning a Pulitzer Prize and 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical; the extraordinary soundtrack forever etched in the memory of those who see it (‘My name is Alexander Hamilton…’ IYKYK.) Time Out also gave the musical five stars, saying: “...the performances are so solid, the music so catchy and the lyrics so clever that even if you know nothing about the show or its historical context, you’ll be absolutely blown away.”
But as we know, all good things in life must come to an end. Alas, Hamilton will be finishing up in Melbourne for good with the last performance taking place on January 15, 2023.
