Time Out says

Dans le Noir are teaming up with Two Birds Brewery for a Good Beer Week dinner in total darkness

The saying goes that "you eat with your eyes first" but you're not going to have that option at Dinner in the Dark. Held as a joint event between internationally-acclaimed restaurant Dans Le Noir and Melbourne craft brewery Two Birds Brewing, Dinner in the Dark will ask you to temporarily surrender your sight for one night.

The evening features a menu of seasonal dishes all paired with a frosty Two Birds Brewing beer as part of Good Beer Week. The catch is you have to eat them all in complete darkness. No, we don't mean mood lighting. You will be in total pitch-black darkness as you eat so as to create a different sensory and social experience. Those familiar with Dans le Noir will also know that all servers at the dinner also have low or no vision, giving you a better understanding of how life is lived through your other senses.

The menu is still to be revealed (for that element of surprise) but you're definitely in good hands and all dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
