Time Out says

Come face to face with life-size dinosaurs at this family friendly exhibition

Are you ready to be transported millions of years back in time, to when fearsome giant creatures roamed the Earth? If that’s a hearty yes, this is for you.

Dinos Alive: An Immersive Experience is a brand new exhibition featuring more than 80 life-size and hyper-realistic dinosaurs – we’re talking velociraptors, pterodactyls and, of course, the mighty T-rex. In addition to moving animatronics, there will also be a virtual aquarium (where you can get up close with some truly terrifying monsters of the deep), VR technology, incredible installations and even an interactive area where kids can pretend to be paleontologists in search of dino bones.

The wait is finally over: the exhibition is now open, running throughout January and February and wrapping up in early March at the Fever Exhibition Hall in Brunswick. This ancient world is being brought to life by Exhibition Hub, the same crew responsible for the immersive Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo digital art exhibitions. You should allow at least 75 minutes to wander through and properly soak up the excitement of the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Buckle up, because it’s time to live out all your Jurassic Park fantasies (minus all the chompy parts, obvs). Tickets start at just $34.90, and can be purchased via the website.
