Well, we're here to tell you that those days don't have to be behind you: the Funderdome has arrived at Highpoint, and it's 2,000-square-metres of maximum fun for all ages.
Put your putt-putt skills to the test on the two-level, 18-hole mini-golf course or head to the old school arcade and grab a joystick, pretend it's 1985 and play classic games like Space Invaders and Pacman. For those uninterested in a blast from the past, there's also a new school arcade boasting an ever-evolving collection of contemporary games and immersive experiences.
Sing your favourite song at one of Funderdome's private and spacious box-style karaoke lounges, or head to the Clubhouse for some competitive sports like cornhole, shuffleboard, pool, air hockey, foosball and more. Once you've tuckered yourself out and worked up an appetite, you can grab a drink and a feed.
Choose from a range of pizzas, sandwiches and hot dogs as well as American-inspired options like a Coney Island-style corn dog, chicken tenders doused in a spicy Buffalo sauce, and panko coated mac and cheese balls. The drinks list features wine by the glass and by the bottle, a selection of bottled and tap beers, and a range of cocktails.
