Time Out says

The Builders Arms Hotel is throwing another wild wine party

Handmade is back for its fifth year and will bring 50 of Australia's most exciting wine producers and distributors to the Builders Arms Hotel for a whole day. The pub will be transformed into a multi-room tasting train, where you'll be able to sample a range of minimal-intervention wines from all over the world while rubbing shoulders with industry legends, novices and everyone in between. No need to feel intimidated.

Expect to sample the wares of Living Wines, Unico Zelo, Rouleur, Reed Wines, Das
Juice, ARC, Blood Moon Wines, Patrick Sullivan Wines, Mac Forbes, Larkin Imports, Le Timbre, Fleet, Gembrook Hill, Terrason, Wanderer, Proud Primary Produce, Alimentaria, Small Fry, Domaine Simha, BK Wines, Thick as Thieves, Fall from Grace and more.

Food, as always, is as important as the wine.

Meatsmith's Chris Watson, will be assuming his alter-ego and operating 'Wats-on the BBQ' upstairs in the Bowery room and will be serving a haus dip sandwich and haus special built off prime rib, all to the soundrack of (yes, you guessed it) German electro music. Adelaide's Summertown Aristologist will be making the trek across the border to take over the courtyard to bring you polenta fritti and whole beast banh mi.

Keep your eye on the Builders Arms Instagram, because first-round tickets may be sold out, but the venue is threatening to release last-minute tickets.

Planning to stick around after Handmade? The afterparty will run from 5pm at no extra cost or entry fee. Don't forget to hydrate.
