Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking, but when peony season rolls around every year, we still get excited. Northcote florist Hello Blooms absolutely gets the hype, so the team is throwing a peony-filled party to celebrate, with lots of their friends in tow to create a fun day out for flower enthusiasts.
At the Peony Block Party on Sunday, November 26, you can pick up a beautiful bunch of peonies for just $8 (this is certainly the cheapest you'll ever get for quality blooms). There will also be market stalls offering an array of the cutest wares, perfect for Christmas gifting. Shop bevs from Baby Pink Gin, flower-powered goods from Bon Lux, bespoke jewellery from Mahoka Designs, vases from Tiny Pots and loads more.
Plus, there'll be treats to eat, floral photo-ops, games and giveaways all set against the backdrop of a massive wall of colourful peonies. Last year, hundreds of flower fans lined up to get their hands on a beautiful posy, so best to get in early when the party kicks off at 10.30am. It'll run until the flowers are sold out.
