Sometimes the worst part of going to a place with lots of options is knowing what to get. Melbourne's Asian hawker-style food hall, HWKR, is one such place – but it's solved your FOMO with a spicy best-of tasting menu for one night only.
The meal includes Wonderbao's chilli chicken gua bao, Chanteen's chilli, lemongrass and ginger caramel pork belly, and spicy fried chicken ribs. HWKR's newest tenant, Son In Law, will also contribute something Thai-inspired to the menu. To cool you down after all that spice, the ice cream wizards at Messina will be dishing up a sweet chilli chocolate dessert.
There will also be games, DJs and giveaways. Entry is $38, and it includes a drink from Maymore.
