To wrap up their final episode for the year, ABC Radio National podcast It’s Not a Race have teamed up with Audiocraft to host a live taping and party at the Gasometer Hotel. The live taping will feature writer Benjamin Law, artist-curator Paola Balla and journalist Santilla Chingaipe alongside host Beverley Wang – a diversity dream team if you will.
Like every episode of It’s Not a Race, the panel will be talking about race in Australia. This time around, however, they’re going to talk about the issues they want to talk about, rather than the ones they're expected to talk about. The end result is a clever, wry take on race and a night at the pub thrown in to boot.
The cherry on top of the podcast is a live performance by local muso Yeo. When he’s not making uber chilled tunes, he’s directing for Emma Louise or producing for Asta. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm starts and tickets are available online for $15, or for $20 at the door.
