Time Out says

Some of Melbourne's best Chinese restaurants are gathering for a dumpling celebration

Make your way to Chinatown's brightest walkway, 206 Bourke Street, for Melbourne's annual dumpling festival. The event brings Chinese restaurants Tim Wo HanChina Red, China Chilli, House of Delight and Dragon Boat back together.

The restaurants will be creating 50 different dumpling varieties to try, along with delicious dumpling and wine pairings with Riot Wine Co laneway bar. There will also be an instant win ball pit, silent disco, cultural performances, free entertainment and more.

There will also be free bubble tea and wine with any takeaway dumplings purchased. Tim Ho Wan will give deep-fried cheese balls to the first 250 people through the doors each night, and there's also a bubble tea drinking competition, for those who can't get enough of the sweet, cold goodness. There are more than $10,000 worth of prizes to be won over the two nights, including free dumplings for an entire year.
