A celebration of cheese is coming to the Meat Market

Bottle Shop Concepts, better know as the team behind Game of Rhones and Pinot Palooza, have come up with yet another festival that will hit you straight in the taste buds. Mould: A Cheese Festival, is exactly what it says on the tin and will be a one-day celebration of handmade Australian cheeses.

The festival, which will be set up as an indoor farmers' market, looks set to attract the best cheesemakers nationwide. Expect Bruny Island Cheese, Yarra Valley Dairy, Grandvewe, Section 28, Shaw River, Tolpuddle, Tongola, That's Amore and more.

If you're hungry for more, Prahran Market favourite Maker and Monger will be making their famous cheesy toasties and flaming Reubens, while cheesemonger Harper and Blohm will be in charge of the raclette. Pair your cheese haul with wines, whisky, beer and cider.

To cater for all the cheese lovers, there will be three sessions over two days: Friday 5pm 'til 9pm as well as Saturday 11am 'til 4pm and 5pm 'til 9pm. Early bird tickets are $40 and if history serves us right, these will sell out very quickly.
