Sticky Fingers founder Hayley McKee has made quite the name for herself in the cake making game. Her towering cake designs are often paired with native greenery and pack a flavour punch that earned her a top spot on Time Out Melbourne’s best party cakes list.
To celebrate the release of their new book Sticky Fingers Green Thumb, the Sticky Fingers crew will be setting up a pop-up shop at Schoolhouse Studios in Collingwood.
For three consecutive Saturdays, Sticky Fingers will be showcasing a rotating menu of baked goods, with each menu item featuring seasonal produce from local suppliers. You’ll be able to try a spiced parsnip and blossom cake, a hot and freshly baked miso eggplant brownie, peach and pickled petal financier or even a warm wedge of honeysuckle brioche pie.
Come down on March 3, 10 and 17 to grab a signed copy of Sticky Fingers Green Thumb, a coffee from Wood and Co. and some delicious cakes.
