Time Out says

Melburnians are definitely no stranger to a beer and booze-themed festival – but something new is about to head into town. Come down to the Ascot Lot on Saturday, April 6 as doggos will take over the venue for the venue’s first ever Stomping Hounds and Sour Beer Fest. The hero beers for the festival will be, the popular ‘Smash’ sour beer series from Collingwood’s Stomping Ground Brewing Co.

Bring over your mates to the Tinnie Bar and enjoy Stomping Ground’s full range of sours, such as the Watermelon Smash, Guava Smash, as well as the brand new Passionfruit Smash. Other popular beers from the brewery will be available on tap too, including the Gipps St Pale Ale and Laneway Lager.

If you’re feeling peckish after all that doggo fun, fear not. A new lineup of exciting food trucks will be at the venue, including award-winning burgers from the Pickle and the Patty. If you're not much of a beer drinker, you can taste it instead – sour beer gelato will also be available on the day.

The doggos won’t miss out either, as they’ll be treated with free doggy treats made from the Stomping Ground’s own spent grain.
