Time Out says

Frolick through fields of yellow and cut a few blooms to take home with you

Can you think of a more gorgeous photo opportunity than a farm filled with blooming sunflowers? Grab your camera and make the trek to Dunnstown, located a 90-minute drive outside of the CBD. The 2023 season is still under wraps (we hear the weather caused a delay in planting, so the blooms are a bit late this year), but if it's anything like previous iterations, here's the low-down on how things will work.

Explore the fields and then grab some food and drink from the on-site food trucks or nibble on a pack of fresh sunflower seeds for just $5. The festival is family friendly and will also feature kids' entertainment like face painting, balloon sculpting and games.

If you're keen to take a few flowers home with you, you can cut as many as your heart desires and pay just $2 per stem. Be sure to BYO scissors for cutting and a bucket or bag for transporting them.

The dates will be announced on the website, so check there and watch this space for updates.
