Time Out says

Balls, beer, beats and bao take over this Flinders Lane favourite

If you're a connoisseur of the noble sport of beer pong (hitting table tennis balls into cups of beer) then now is your time to shine. To kick off Good Food Month, Supernormal – Andrew McConnell's mod-Japanese restaurant – is hosting the ultimate beer pong party, complete with flowing beer, tasty cocktails, live music and delicious snacks by celebrated chef May Chow, who has come all the way down south from her famous Hong Kong restaurant Little Bao for one night only.

Chow will be creating a one-off menu in collaboration with Supernormal's chefs: expect 'drunken chicken bao' with miso dressing and beetroot daikon coleslaw, truffle fries with Taiwanese-style tempeh ragout and peanut butter ice-cream and strawberry dessert baos (yes, it's a thing).

In between feasting, remember to put your beer pong skills to the test at Supernormal's 'leisure arena'. If you'd rather watch on the sidelines, then make sure you catch Rio Olympian Melissa Tapper, who will play an exhibition match thanks to Table Tennis Victoria.

And that's not all. There'll be local DJs, plus access to Supernormal's much-loved karaoke room.

Your ticket also puts you into the draw to win two economy class return flights to Hong Kong, valued at $3,500. What more could you want?

Good Food Month also means the Night Noodle Markets open soon!
