Time Out says

Whisky and Alement are running 2010 prices to celebrate 10 years in the biz

Believe it or not, Whisky and Alement will be turning 10 years old this March. Since 2010, the bar has poured over 300,000 drams, opened over 4680 different bottles of whisk(e)y and educated more than 17,000 people through weekly whisky classes. In human years, that would be the equivalent of ushering yourself into a nursing home, so owners Brooke Hayman and Julian White are throwing a big, eff-off, turn-back-the-clock party where the theme is the year of Whisky and Alement's opening: 2010.

From 4pm on March 27 (that's a Friday night, for all you party animals), Whisky and Alement will operate with its original opening hours, meaning the party will be going until 5am in the morning. You'll also be seeing some friendly faces such as Ev Liong (Lee Ho Fook), Steve Kimonides (Burn City Smokers, Slice Shop) and Joey Tai (Alba Whisky) behind the bar, alongside 13 of their closest friends. Yep, the old crew are coming back for one night only. But the biggest news of all is all 1000 bottles in the Whisky and Alement back bar will be poured at 2010 prices alongside the original cocktails like the Hot Brick (Ardbeg 10-year-old, spice and butter in the style of a Hot Toddy) and Islay Orge (Lagavulin 16-year-old served with an ice cube made of almond orgeat syrup and black salt) that put the bar on the map.

Entry to the 10-year birthday party is free, but just remember that Whisky and Alement is not the biggest bar in the world.
