Love NYC's best carousels? We do too! This being said, we're super excited to hear that the Forest Park Carousel is opening for the season on March 25 at 11am (running through 6pm)—just another of the fun outdoor activities for kids (and other great free things to do in NYC that grownup folks are looking forward to) this season). Did you know that the Forest Park Carousel was made in 1903 (with substantial restorations along the way!), was originally operated in Massachusetts and currently contains 49 horses, a lion, a tiger, a deer and two chariots?

Apart from the carousel itself circling back into action after its winter slumber, the event will also include the world premier of the "visual editorial" of rising star Demiana Esposito's song "Butterfly," plus some fun stuff from DJ Lusion. This portion of the event is free to the public!

The Forest Park Carousel is located in Forest Park, Woodhaven, Queens.
