Star Wars you love, celebrate you must.

George Lucas' fanbase comes together worldwide on May 4 (otherwise known as Star Wars Day) to pay homage to his epic film franchise. In order to make sure your family takes full advantage of May the Fourth Be With You, we've rounded up some great happenings in NYC that would make BB-8 proud.

Take a trip to Ripley's Believe It Or Not

Green-colored crayons carved into Yoda and an Instagram-worthy Darth Vader made of recycled materials are but some of the museum's Star Wars collection you need to see to believe. Any fan will appreciate the fun, complex displays.

Stop by Dave & Buster's

Grab a buddy and head for the Star Wars Battle Pod, where visitors will duke it out for victory while "riding" the most adventurous spacecrafts seen in the flicks. The force (and fun) is strong with this one.

Go shopping at your favorite kid-friendly stores

Sales are aplenty this Star Wars Day, and the saga's littlest fans are reaping all the benefits. When shopping online at Gap.com, you can enter the code MAYTHE4TH in order to gain access to sales on the store's first-ever baby collection! Pottery Barn Kids is also offering 20 percent off online when purchasing the Star Wars Collection. See more deals and find local stores near you that are cashing in on this exciting holiday by visiting starwars.com.

Enjoy a movie night with your favorite fans

Grab the whole family and binge your favorite Star Wars films. If you're feeling really adventurous, dress up and bring your lightsabers.

Grab some treats for your Star Wars baking fest

This occasion calls for some out-of-this-galaxy treats, so if you and the kiddies are feeling up for an evening in the kitchen (while you play your favorite films in the background, of course), try making these epic Millennial Falcon ice cream treats, Chewbacca noodle rolls or many other fabulous space-like dishes courtesy of starwars.com

Looking to leave the kiddies with a babysitter? No sweat! You can enjoy 21+ Star Wars events such as trivia nights and shows. You and the little ones can have a movie marathon when you get home!

Sign up to receive great Time Out New York Kids deals in your inbox each day.

There are plenty of other fun happenings in NYC. Stop by a kids playground for an afternoon of outdoor fun, take a swing at the best mini golf NYC has to offer or cool off in the water playgrounds NYC provides.
