Itching to get out of town?

The newly opened Kartrite Indoor Resort & Waterpark has made quite a splash in the Catskills, so plan those family weekend getaways accordingly!

Vacationers are treated to a dose of summer fun year-round, and the resort is one of the coolest indoor water parks New York families can find. With action-packed features, comfy amenities and mountain views from the (indoor) beach, what's not to love?

The Empire State's largest indoor water attraction will be a hit for fishes of all ages.

Thrill-seekers will opt for the twists and turns of the Nor'easter and race with their friends down the gnarly Jiggerty-Jaggerty. Swimmers can also hang 10 on the waves of the Flowrider and athletes can score a slam dunk in an aqua version of a basketball court! Have tiny ones in tow? Not to worry! The gentle Puddle Ducks or the low-key Empire Bay lazy river are great picks for the smaller set.

Fortunately for vacationers, the fun doesn't stop after the water park.

Options are aplenty at this entertainment oasis, thanks to other cool features such as laser tag, a virtual reality experience, rock climbing, a bowling alley and so much more! Don't forget to take a look at the calendar for fun activities and workshops!

Plus, there are plenty of perks for parents.

The serene Affinity Springs in the water park is perfect for moms and dads who need a little breather. The Chill Spa will be a welcome sigh of relief after keeping up with the kiddos all day.
