Ever wish ComicCon didn't have to end? Well, you just might be in luck.

Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) is looking to expand to NYC, and it plans to bring its gaming, TV, film and comic bliss along for the ride. The venue has acquired a potential midtown home from the New York Public Library, and we're hoping that our dreams come to fruition as the planning phase gets underway.

The West Coast transplant aims to serve as a hands-on, educational facility for NYC residents to learn new techniques and express their creativity, especially when it comes to kiddos. Think of the possibilities that await—birthday parties, summer camp, after-school programs! (Yes, we're daydreaming already...but it's so hard not to.)

"The educational programs offered at MoPOP offer engaging and fun experiences that promote teamwork and collaboration amongst students," Darrin Cook of Skyline High School's music department said in a statement. "My students have benefited tremendously from participating in the MoPOP STAR Program & the educational workshops offered at the museum."

Programs are one facet of the venue. Home to Star Trek, Hello Kitty and horror movie exhibits, among other offerings, MoPOP will certainly fit right in with NYC's best family attractions. Though we're still waiting for a green light for our MoPOP dreams to come true, we will keep you posted with all the details as they unfold.

We'll be waiting, comic book at hand. Cross your fingers, NYC!
